SEATTLE ATHLETIC CLUBS

We are the proud partner of the Seattle Athletic Club (SAC). With two locations in Northgate and Downtown Seattle, the SAC helps ensure that our scholars have access to top quality squash courts. The Seattle Athletic Club is one of Seattle’s finest and most established athletic clubs. In addition to their generosity in allowing WESA to use their squash courts for practices, the SAC also provides space for academic tutoring, and hosts WESA tournaments and fundraising events. The Seattle Athletic Club’s support and cooperation is an example of community outreach and philanthropy at its finest. We are very pleased and feel very lucky to be working with such an exemplary facility!

SEATTLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS - NORTHGATE ELEMENTARY

We are very excited to continue our partnership with Northgate Elementary. Located 1.3 miles north of the Seattle Athletic Club Northgate, Northgate Elementary is known for its diverse demographics and small class sizes. In 2013, the percentage of students on free/subsidized lunch was 84.4%, vastly higher than neighboring north Seattle schools. The need for support in North Seattle is often overshadowed by south Seattle’s need for social services and nonprofit programs. We are proud to work with Northgate Elementary and the rest of the Seattle Public School system to provide our services to as many students as possible.

seattle squash racquets association

The Seattle Squash Racquets Association is the largest squash governing body in the Northwest, running events, tournaments, and the popular Seattle City Squash League. From the beginning, the SSRA has generously supported the Washington Education & Squash Academy, providing guidance, insight, and funding as we endeavored to grow our program. The SSRA is a critical link between our organization and the Seattle squash community, and an important partner in our commitment to the growth of squash in Seattle.

King County Play Equity Coalition’s working mission is: “Using the 2019 State of Play: Seattle-King County Report findings and recommendations as a springboard, King County Play Equity Coalition aims to increase the rates of King County youth meeting the CDC’s Physical Activity Guidelines so that all youth have access to the mental, emotional, academic, and physical benefits of movement.” We are thrilled to be working in partnership with them to ensure our students are meeting these guidelines for their own benefit and that we are doing our part to ensure the same for kids across King County.
